This rare 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Monospecchio is a desirable early production example (1984-86) which features a single mirror mounted high on the driver’s side A-pillar. As a result, the car was nicknamed the “flying mirror” and is widely considered to be the most attractive and collectable of all the standard Testarossas.

This particular car is finished in a classic “Rosso Corsa” paint and features a beautifully contrasting two-tone tan/brown leather interior

Exterior

In total, only 1,497 “Flying Mirror” cars were produced between 1984 and 1986 for the worldwide market, only 421 came to North America. This example is the first of approximately 300 Monospecchio models produced for the US in 1986.

Its iconic side strakes help channel air into the dual rear-mounted radiators, keeping the engine and cabin from overheating. Early Testarossas feature 5-spoke magnesium alloys that are mounted with a single knockoff lug nut.

Interior

The interior features wonderful two-tone leather upholstery in tan/brown. The seats are in excellent condition with very minimal wear for the mileage.
